Project Two: Re-landscape of Backyard

Our next project that happened at the same time as the construction inside the house was the re-landscaping of the backyard. When we moved in the house it was a decent looking backyard with good landscape but our dogs tore everything up really badly and for 4.5 years it just looked horrible and it wasn't enjoyable to be outside or spend any time out there. My dream has been to let my boys out in the backyard to roam free and enjoy playing out there and now that is a reality (well sort of but that's another post!). We have a few things left to do like get a table and chairs for the patio and we need to buy stepping stones to put from the porch to the sandbox. I have some flowers and a couple fun and exotic plants to plant with my mom. Oh and we have to change the type of border that is around the sandbox because it is currently metal and asher split his knee cap on it! Other than that, it's a done project and we can have many fun and endless hours enjoying the outside, especially when our weather is not so hot!
