Asher's delights...

It's been a big week for Asher. Last Monday (oct 1), he dropped something off the diaper changing table and exclaimed, "Uh Oh!"...that's his first official word!! That same day, he pointed at something for the first time and hasn't stopped since then! On Friday (oct 5), he was in his daddy's arms and looked at him and said, "dadda!" Curt was super excited and hasn't let me forget it! Yesterday, he learned to wave hello and goodbye to people and wouldn't stop waving for several minutes....his 2 year old cousin, Avalonne, was very delighted by this! Man, sometimes I feel overwhelmed with a child's ability to take everything in and be so amused by the littlest things! Asher has been clapping for a while now, but his version of clapping has been with closed fists....well the other day, he realized that if he opened his fists to clap, it would make a really cool noise and he kept doing it all through dinner! I love watching him!!
